Protecting your information

Karevu uses the information needed to provide and secure accounts, bookings, orders, support and location-based features. Private account information is not displayed on public profiles.

Google sign-in

KAREVU uses Google for worldwide sign-in. KAREVU receives the stable Google account identifier and the profile information you authorize, such as a verified email address and name. KAREVU does not receive or store your Google password.

Location

Your device location is used to calculate nearby results. Public discovery sends coordinates needed for distance calculation, but does not publish your location on your profile. A professional’s private coordinates are not exposed publicly when configured as private.

Orders and payments

Order information needed for fulfilment and support is retained by KAREVU. Where online payment is available, it is processed by PayPal; payment information entered on PayPal is subject to PayPal’s own practices.

Access, correction and deletion

Requests to access, correct or delete information are evaluated against applicable legal, security, fraud-prevention and record-retention obligations.

Applicable laws

Retention periods, access rights, international transfers and privacy obligations may vary by country. KAREVU must publish a privacy contact and adapt this policy to the jurisdictions it actually serves.
